Northern Lights Technology Development - Chennai is proud to celebrate Usha Ramani's remarkable decade of service. Her journey has been marked by significant achievements, which we are honored to highlight.
- Pioneering the BPO Division: Usha was pivotal in establishing our BPO division from scratch, starting with Delegation and later expanding into Transaction operations. She prepared for this crucial task with specialized training in Georgia, USA.
- Launch and Expansion of the Delegation Team: She set up an initial pilot team managing six studios. Under her leadership, the team quickly scaled, taking over the delegation volume of more than 50 studios from the stateside team within a year.
- Business Continuity Process (BCP): Usha led the implementation of a robust BCP to ensure operational resilience during natural calamities and other disruptions. This initiative included training and establishing a local Delegation Team in Cebu.
- Development of the Transaction Team: Building on her success, Usha identified and developed a core Transaction Team in Chennai and replicated the model in Cebu. At the client’s request, she traveled to Cebu three times to oversee the establishment and integration of the Transaction Team.
- Client Relations and Project Execution: As the primary client contact for the BPO division across both Cebu and Chennai, Usha has excelled in managing expectations, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring seamless project execution. She serves as the key liaison between the two locations.
- Cross-Geographical Team Bridging: Usha’s deep understanding of operational dynamics and cultural nuances has been crucial. Her ability to bridge teams across geographies has been instrumental in the sustained success of NL India’s longest-running BPO delegation and transaction projects.
- Leadership and Additional Contributions: Prior to joining Knowledge Connect, Usha showcased her leadership and dedication by actively contributing to the R&R and Events Committees, demonstrating her capability to take on and excel in additional responsibilities.
